The autumn in southern Xinjiang is a painting of nature, and the color of its soul is interpreted to the extreme by the poplar forest. On the 19th anniversary of Amodiro's trip to southern Xinjiang, our first stop was a journey to find the real autumn, visiting the Luobu people's village and the Tarim Luntai Poplar Forest to visit the poplars that have stood tall in the long river of time.

Populus euphratica is a warrior in the desert and a witness of the years. In a place where even pines and cypresses can hardly survive, it can try its best to bloom with all its brilliance and tenderness before the severe winter comes. It has used its thousand-year persistence to tell the tenacity of life, and its legend of "living for a thousand years without dying, dying for a thousand years without falling, and falling without decaying for a thousand years" has become the most moving poem on this land.

When the morning light first shines, the golden sunlight penetrates the sparse clouds and sprinkles on the road. Our convoy is like a long dragon, winding through the golden poplar forest. The hard lines of the car body and the soft posture of the poplar complement each other, forming a unique landscape. The dust rolled up by the wheels interweaves with the sunlight to form a flowing picture scroll, which is breathtakingly beautiful.

As we went deeper, we seemed to have traveled through time and space and came to a world that can only be seen in dreams. We chose to stop in this golden land and set up camp. Here, the distance between heaven and earth seemed to be shortened, and everything around us became so close.

When night falls, the golden poplars are like natural tents, guarding us travelers from afar. In this poplar forest, everyone's soul has found a home, and the close contact with nature also makes us feel another possibility of life. The stars and lights complement each other, and the warm picture is frozen in everyone's memory. At this moment, we are no longer just passers-by, but part of this land.

The poplars witnessed our arrival, and we became a unique color in the legendary picture of the poplars. We took a photo between heaven and earth, freezing this beautiful moment and leaving behind eternal memories.

In the days to come, let us continue to move forward with this unforgettable experience, and find our own poetry and distance in every trip.
